Job description

Job Title: Ecumenical Music Director/Accompanist
Location: Malmstrom AFB Chapel, Great Falls, Montana
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide piano accompaniment and music direction for weekly Catholic and Protestant services and rehearsals (minimum two services and two rehearsals weekly).
  • Direct music for up to 14 annual special services and 6 funeral/memorial services.
  • Coordinate with chaplains for music selection and rehearsal scheduling.
  • Recruit and train volunteer musicians.
  • Submit music selections weekly and rehearsal schedules monthly.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a worship music setting (Catholic or Protestant), with leadership preferred.
  • Skilled in piano accompaniment, music arrangement, and sight reading.
  • Ability to work respectfully in a diverse, interfaith environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
