Job Description

As a Project Manager in the Research and Development team, you will work closely with the project managers that make up the team on a wide range of tasks such as:

  • Support the management of multiple, complex innovation-driven collaboration programs on quarterly and annual basis from scoping, technological eligibility analysis, financial forecasting, claim preparation, and audits
  • Analyze trends, forecasts and statistics relating to R&D portfolio from a technical and financial perspective. Consolidate and synthetize findings into reports to be presented to various management levels
  • Support and participate in program reviews, negotiations, and audits with internal and external stakeholders both governmental and non-governmental organizations
  • Participate in the preparation business cases for opportunities aligned with CAE's growth strategies
  • Support the management of innovation-driven collaborations events, sponsorships, bursaries, and initiatives in support of CAE's interaction/commitment with post-secondary institutions across Canada


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in engineering, management, finance, law or related domains
  • Experience in data analysis, including working with large volumes of structured and unstructured datasets
  • Scientific curiosityand interest in cutting-edge technological developments
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to abstract and summarize
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. Bilingual (French and English)
  • Flexible work environment (remote, on-site, hybrid)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in proposals and management of government programs (e.g. SR&ED, Multimedia Tax Credits, NSERC, MITACS, International Programs, and others)
  • Strong familiarity with ERP and MRP systems, as well as financial platforms (including Oracle), complemented by experience with business intelligence tools and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI)
  • Work experience in a technology sector or in consulting
  • Team spirit and collaboration alertness
  • Resourcefulness and autonomy
  • Multitasking and ability to manage initiatives of different sizes
