Job Description:
The Video & Multimedia Content Creator intern will produce short-form video and visual content for Innovation DuPage's social media channels, events, and internal communications. This intern will report to the Marketing Manager and IT Project Coordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Video Production:
• Film and edit short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook (event recaps, member spotlights, program reels)
• Capture on-site video footage at Innovation DuPage events and partner gatherings
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent Adobe tools
Graphic Design & Multimedia:
• Design graphics and visual assets for social media, newsletters, and event flyers
• Make quick edits to existing graphics and templates as needed
• Support creation of presentation decks and other multimedia assets
• Maintain consistent visual brand identity across all content
Qualifications:
Required:
• Currently pursuing a degree in media production, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign)
• Comfortable capturing video content on camera or smartphone
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred:
• Experience with Canva or other design tools
• Familiarity with social media platforms and current content trends
• Familiarity with DuPage County and the entrepreneurial community
Schedule & Commitment:
• 25 hours per week
• Required: one in-office day per week at Innovation DuPage (Glen Ellyn, IL)
• Additional in-office availability strongly encouraged, especially for events
• Hybrid - remote work available outside of required in-office days
