Job Summary:
AA2IT is seeking a Multimedia Support Specialist to deliver high-level customer service and multimedia support in a corporate environment. This role involves the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of audiovisual and conferencing technologies, requiring professionalism and technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multimedia and AV equipment in conference centers and meeting rooms.
• Set up, operate, and test audiovisual systems including:
• Flat panels and projectors
• Internal and external laptops
• Microphones
• VOIP / teleconference systems
• Video conferencing systems
• Mobile devices
• Support collaboration platforms and conferencing technologies including Cisco TelePresence, Polycom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and similar tools.
• Coordinate with external vendors, multimedia suppliers, and AV service providers.
• Serve as liaison with business partners, executives, leadership teams, and distinguished guests for technical support during meetings and events.
• Support highly confidential, time-sensitive, and high-profile meetings with urgency and discretion.
• Troubleshoot system issues, software updates, break/fix incidents, and connectivity problems.
• Manage video conferencing bridges and endpoint connectivity where applicable.
• Track requests and incidents through ticketing systems.
• Recommend service improvements, technology enhancements, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies that can improve workplace productivity and user experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
• College diploma in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT, AV support, multimedia services, or conference room technology support.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting AV / multimedia environments.
• Hands-on experience with conferencing systems such as Cisco TelePresence, Polycom, WebEx, Teams, or similar.
• Familiarity with Apple iOS and Android devices.
• Experience with ticketing / service management systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent and ad-hoc requests.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional presence when supporting executives and senior leadership.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting executive boardrooms or conference centers.
• Exposure to networking concepts related to conferencing systems.
• Knowledge of hybrid meeting room technologies.
