Job description

Role: CATIA Packaging Specialist
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
What you'll be doing
  • Vehicle application of electronic components.
  • Plan mechanical structure and design of Multimedia packaging for style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Create CATIA products pulling in surrounding parts, creating interfacing parts design solutions while ensuring packaging requirements are satisfied. Identifying critical sections and documenting evidence of successful packaging of 3D components on 2D planning drawings.
  • Support part list changes and the preparation of engineering change instructions. Support engineers in creating wiring specifications, parts list and other vehicle development related documentation.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong CATIA skills and packaging knowledge.
  • Ability to use MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work onsite at our Saline Michigan office 5 days/week.
  • Must be able to work up to 30% overtime

WHAT YOU MAY BRING
  • Experience in vehicle specific mechanical design/development
  • Experience with wiring or other electrical background
