Job description

Executive Plastic Surgery / Landmark Surgery Center is seeking a creative, professional, and dependable Part-Time Medical Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to assist with photography, videography, editing, podcast production, and social media management within our growing plastic surgery practice and accredited surgical center.

This role requires someone comfortable working in a clinical and surgical environment while maintaining professionalism, patient privacy, and strong communication with staff and physicians.

Schedule is flexible and varies throughout the week based on clinic, surgery, and content needs.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of:
    • Patients (with consent)
    • Physician interviews and educational content
    • Surgical procedures and behind-the-scenes content
    • Office/team content and events
  • Edit photos and videos for marketing and educational purposes
  • Create short-form content for:
    • Instagram
    • Facebook/Meta
    • TikTok
    • YouTube Shorts/Reels
  • Assist with podcast recording, editing, publishing, and promotion
  • Coordinate with website developers, marketing vendors, and office staff
  • Organize and maintain digital media files and content calendars
  • Assist with posting and scheduling social media content
  • Help develop creative marketing ideas and branding strategies
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Experience with photography and videography
  • Strong video editing skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
  • Experience with editing software such as:
    • CapCut
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Final Cut Pro
    • Canva
    • Photoshop (preferred)
  • Comfortable working in medical and surgical settings
  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to understand and accurately present medical and surgical procedures in professional content
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Flexible availability including occasional early mornings or variable hours

Preferred Experience

  • Plastic surgery, aesthetics, medspa, healthcare, or medical marketing experience
  • Podcast production experience
  • Content creation for physicians or healthcare brands
  • Knowledge of YouTube, podcast, and social media publishing platforms
