Jim Rottkamp State Farm is seeking a highly service-driven Part-Time Multiline Representative who enjoys helping people, building strong relationships, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. Work Schedule & Environment
• Approximately 20-25 hours per week (schedule to be discussed)
• In-office during training and onboarding
• Hybrid opportunity available after training (up to 2 days per week remote)
Compensation
• Hourly base pay
• Commission opportunities tied to in-book sales and performance
Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)
This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.
• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full support provided)
• We provide guidance, resources, and support to help you successfully complete the licensing process
Role Overview
As a Part-Time Multiline Representative, you will support both customer service and relationship management, ensuring a seamless experience for new and existing customers. This role is primarily service-focused, with the opportunity to contribute to growth by identifying additional coverage needs through thoughtful, needs-based conversations.
Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, retention, and contribution to agency growth.
Responsibilities
Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate product and policy information
Assist with policy changes, updates, endorsements, and billing questions
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Support daily office operations including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up
Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to support agency visibility
Identify opportunities to enhance coverage and pivot service conversations into in-book sales
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions
Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience
Ensure compliance with agency standards and applicable regulations
Qualifications
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer experience
Comfortable discussing coverage options and recommending solutions when appropriate
Prior customer service, business support, or insurance experience preferred
