Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Multifamily Flooring Account Manager to develop new business, manage existing accounts, and serve as a trusted flooring consultant to property managers, contractors, and developers throughout the Wichita market.

This role blends business development, consultative sales, customer service, and project coordination to ensure a seamless client experience from first contact through installation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the multifamily market
  • Build relationships with property managers, contractors, and developers

Sales & Consultative Selling

  • Understand client flooring needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on products, trends, budgeting, and installation processes
  • Present product features and benefits in a way that aligns with client goals

Customer Service

  • Deliver best-in-class service throughout the sales cycle
  • Respond quickly to inquiries, address concerns, and provide project updates

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate product orders, scheduling, and installations
  • Ensure projects are completed smoothly and on time

Industry Knowledge

  • Stay informed on flooring trends, product advancements, and competitor offerings
  • Position Design Source Flooring as a market leader

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity, client interactions, and project details
  • Generate reports as requested by management

Qualifications

  • Multifamily industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the Wichita multifamily market is a plus
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
