Senior Sales Leader (SSL) / Líder Nacional de VentasPosition Summary

Lead the Cardiometabolic Health Sales Force to deliver Business Plan objectives across the CMH portfolio, while building a high performing, high integrity team of DSMs (sales Managers) and driving change management across a national sales structure of 80+ people.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Execution
  • Lead sales execution to achieve Business Plan objectives for the assigned portfolio.
  • Own the Business Review process, translating field results into clear action plans.
  • Identify opportunities and threats based on therapeutic area knowledge, brand strategy, local market dynamics, customer needs, and the healthcare/payer environment.
  • Understand and challenge brand strategy to ensure it is executable at the sales force level.
  • Bring market intelligence back into brand strategy, solutions, and initiatives.
People Leadership
  • Develop a high performing, high integrity team: set clear expectations on compliance, then role model and coach the team to meet them.
  • Build a strong track record in people development and coaching for results.
  • Lead the sales organization through change: communicate the rationale and benefits of change and how it will positively affect business results and team performance.
Customer and Stakeholder Value
  • Create external customer value: identify, prioritize, and build strategic partnerships with key customers and institutions.
  • Create internal customer value: represent the Voice of the Customer to Lilly, channeling field feedback to Marketing, Medical, Sales, and Compliance.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, achieving results through eye-level collaboration.
Basic Requirements
  • Business level English.
  • Sales management experience; Marketing senior management experience
  • Minimum 8 years of recent commercial experience with a proven track record.
  • Self-directed, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in a complex, multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver results through partnership.
Preferred
  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree.
