Job description

HR & Office Coordinator

ESS is seeking a proactive and organized HR & Office Coordinator to oversee HR and office operations in Gabon. The role will support recruitment, employee administration, compliance, office coordination, and employee engagement while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Human Resources
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and employee records
  • Ensure HR compliance with company policies and local labor regulations
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and maintain BambooHR ATS records
  • Support payroll preparation, benefits administration, and HR reporting
  • Assist with performance reviews, employee relations, and career progression follow-up
  • Support HR initiatives related to training, engagement, onboarding, and talent management
Office Coordination
  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative activities
  • Manage office supplies, invoices, vendors, and general expenses
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and internal events
  • Ensure office spaces remain organized, operational, and secure
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, administration, or office management
  • Experience with recruitment coordination and HRIS/ATS systems (BambooHR preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English and French
