Position Overview

Integrated Multicultural Counseling, LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is designed for professionals who are committed to providing high-quality mental health services through telehealth platforms, all while working in a flexible remote setting.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from any location while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of adjusting your schedule based on patient availability and needs. The convenient telehealth format ensures that you can reach and support clients effectively, regardless of geographical barriers.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately evaluate client needs and mental health concerns.
  • Developing personalized and actionable treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Implementing therapeutic interventions with a focus on solution-centered techniques designed to foster client resilience and coping strategies.
  • Maintaining detailed and confidential clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to enhance the overall quality of client care.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to promote the continuous improvement of therapeutic techniques and client outcomes.
  • Providing education and resources to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health issues, available treatments, and community support options.
  • Staying informed on the latest research and innovations in mental health to continually refine your therapeutic practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele comprises individuals facing a range of mental health challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. We prioritize creating a safe, welcoming environment where every client feels valued and understood, encouraging them to explore and overcome their personal struggles while embracing their diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Expertise in delivering tailored, solution-focused psychotherapy interventions suited to individual client needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills necessary for effective client engagement.
  • A collaborative spirit, demonstrating the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented atmosphere while embracing a growth mindset.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or working with multicultural populations will be highly regarded. Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and a strong foundation in clinical assessment techniques will set you apart as a strong applicant.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
