JOB SUMMARY
This position develops and implements programs to enhance the overall skills of associates that provide bedside nursing care to the patient. The multi-specialty Clinical Resource Nurse works very closely with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement in patient care. The overall goal of the multi-specialty CRN is to facilitate the development of nursing staff that render care at the bedside.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate School of Nursing. Baccalaureate School of Nursing (BSN) required with a Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS required. Instructor cards or AHA Training Center Faculty status preferred.
Licensure: Current RN License in the State of Tennessee
Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in clinical setting specific to role; some management experience and previous teaching skills preferred.
Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Tennessee. Good interpersonal skills and ability to learn management skills.
