Experienced Tradesperson? Stop Working Yourself to the Bone for Someone Else.

Put your skills, experience, and craftsmanship to work for a company that values them.

Mr. Handyman of Woodstown, Swedesboro, and Sewell is looking for an experienced Handyman / Multi-Trade Service Technician to join our growing team serving Gloucester County and surrounding areas.

If you've spent years mastering your trade and are looking for steady, year-round work without the headaches of large construction sites, seasonal layoffs, or repetitive work, we'd like to talk with you.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys variety, independence, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.

Why Experienced Tradespeople Choose This Type of Work

You won't be stuck doing the same thing every day.

One day you may be repairing or replacing a door. The next, you're completing drywall repairs, installing trim, repairing tile, painting, replacing a faucet or trouble-shooting a water leak.

You won't be working on a large construction crew.

You'll travel directly from home to customer locations in a company-provided vehicle, complete your work, and move on to the next project.

And you won't be left on your own without support.

You'll have office staff handling scheduling and customer coordination, while we provide uniforms, large or specialty equipment, technology, and the support you need to do your job professionally.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Technician, you'll perform a wide range of residential and light commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement projects, including:

  • Carpentry repairs and installations
  • Drywall repair and finishing
  • Door and window repairs / replacement
  • Trim and finish work
  • Tile repair and installation
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Minor electrical repairs
  • General home and commercial maintenance
  • Installing grab bars and other assist equipment
  • Recommending practical solutions to customers
  • Communicating professionally with customers throughout each project

Every project is different, and your experience matters.

We need someone who can look at a problem, figure out what needs to be done, and complete the work correctly and professionally.

We're Looking for a True Multi-Trade Professional

This position is ideal for someone who has spent years working in the trades and can confidently handle a variety of repair and maintenance projects.

You should have:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in handyman work, home repair, remodeling, maintenance, or related trades
  • Strong carpentry and general repair skills
  • Experience across multiple trades, including some combination of electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile, painting, doors, windows, and finish work
  • The ability to diagnose problems and determine the best solution
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Your own comprehensive set of hand and power tools
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • The ability to safely lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day

What You Get

$27–$30 Per Hour

Your experience and performance matter. This position offers $56,000–$62,000+ in annual earning potential, plus opportunities for performance bonuses.

We provide:

  • Company vehicle
  • Uniforms
