All Level Installations of Finish Carpentry Inc. is a Finish Carpentry company that has been in business for 9 years. We are looking for the right people to expand our company. The Construction Estimator must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal. The role will include hunting for new business as well as maintaining current clients relationships. Follow up and attention to detail is must for success. Expected to work well in a team setting while maintaining consistent open communication when completing duties independently. Minimum of 5 years of Construction Estimating and Sales is preferred. Current of previous Estimating experience is a MUST. This is a great opportunity for the right person, who is looking to grow with a growing company.
Description:
  • We are looking for a bright and energetic salesman to solicit projects and generate new business opportunities.
  • Must be able to work with team or independently to estimate and sale projects.
  • Be able to work with Architects, Property Management, Owners, Contractors, Distributors, Millwork Suppliers, Door & Window Suppliers and Commercial Building Engineers in Commercial and Residential Fields.
  • Develop new relationships within the construction communities.
  • Abilities to perform all aspects from selling to closing a project.
  • Must be able to fully inspect Commercial and Residential projects
  • Salesman must also be able to bid construction projects on his/her own through construction blue prints and Millwork, Door and Hardware elevation plans.
  • Knowledgable in pre-construction, hard bids, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions.
  • Attend job-walks as required.
  • Complete documents on time such as commercial bids, customer proposals, change orders and weekly call reports.
  • Ensure all commercial bids and customer proposals are consistent and eliminating bid errors.
  • Responsible for following up on all RFP's and proposals with clients.
  • Achieve/Exceed targeted new Commercial and Residential cold calls weekly as part of networking routines and engage in other marketing activities.
  • Attend Construction Workshops to represent the company and engage in other marketing activities.
  • Research and promote continuous improvement into developing more efficient estimating.
  • Must hit a minimum quota of $1M projects sold per year
  • Must own vehicle and have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to operate Excel and Apple products.
