Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hearth Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Porters Mountain View Supply. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses, install new Stoves, and diagnose and repair their existing hearth appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Respond to client requests for stove service
  • Evaluate and diagnose stove problems
  • Estimate the costs of stove repair, service, and installation
  • Repair stoves
  • Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
  • Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
  • Teach homeowners how to operate their hearth appliances
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Associates degree or NFI certification preferred
  • Previous experience as an Hearth Repair Technician is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent customer service skills
