Position Summary
The Service Delivery Manager, Infrastructure & Growth is responsible for leading the successful delivery of IT infrastructure and implementation services for new imaging center openings, relocations, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives across the enterprise. This role manages a team of Implementation Engineers while also serving as a hands-on technical leader capable of directly supporting implementations when needed.
Partnering closely with Construction Management, the PMO, Infrastructure teams, vendors, and managed service providers, this leader ensures imaging centers are delivered on time, within budget, and fully operational at go-live. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple concurrent projects, and is accountable for end-to-end IT delivery from planning through post-go-live stabilization.
This role is critical to supporting rapid organizational growth and requires a leader who can scale processes, drive accountability, and step into execution gaps as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
IT Delivery & Growth Initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end IT delivery for new imaging center openings, relocations, mergers/acquisitions, and expansion projects.
  • Ensure alignment with construction timelines and proactively identify risks that could impact opening dates.
  • Maintain consistent implementation standards, processes, and quality expectations across all sites.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical or operational issues impacting timelines, budgets, or readiness.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Implementation Engineers to ensure high performance and delivery consistency.
  • Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects based on priority, complexity, and timelines.
  • Establish accountability for project milestones, SLA adherence, go-live readiness, and implementation outcomes.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide coaching to strengthen technical and project delivery capabilities.

Hands-On Technical Leadership
  • Operate as a player-coach by directly supporting implementations during peak demand periods or critical project phases.
  • Perform or oversee on-site and remote technical activities, including:
    • Network and infrastructure setup
    • ISP and low-voltage vendor coordination
    • Hardware deployment and telecom setup
    • Modality connectivity and VPN coordination
    • Software testing, troubleshooting, and infrastructure validation
  • Provide on-site leadership during go-live events to ensure seamless activation and rapid issue resolution.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner closely with Construction Management, the PMO, Infrastructure and Network teams, vendors, and MSP partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure IT activities are fully integrated into construction and operational workflows.
  • Drive clear and structured communication regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions across stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Develop and standardize scalable implementation processes to support continued organizational growth.
  • Improve efficiencies related to scheduling, vendor coordination, equipment readiness, and site validation.
  • Track and report key performance metrics including:
    • On-time center openings
    • Budget adherence
    • Go-live defect rates
    • Post-implementation incident trends
  • Continuously improve delivery processes using lessons learned and operational feedback.

Risk & Vendor Management
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to construction schedules, infrastructure readiness, vendor dependencies, and operational support.
  • Coordinate with external vendors including ISP providers, cabling vendors, and hardware suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution.
  • Hold vendors and partners accountable to project timelines, commitments, and service expectations.

Qualifications & Experience
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, implementations, or service delivery environments.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or implementation resources.
  • Proven success supporting multi-site expansion initiatives or large-scale rollout programs.
  • Healthcare, imaging, or other regulated industry experience strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise
Strong working knowledge of:
  • WAN/LAN networks, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Low-voltage cabling and site infrastructure requirements
  • ISP circuit provisioning and vendor coordination
  • Wireless networking, switching, and endpoint deployments
  • Windows desktop troubleshooting and support

Ability to independently execute implementation tasks when necessary.
Leadership & Communication
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Ability to operate with urgency, accountability, and minimal oversight in a high-growth environment.

Preferred Industry Experience
  • Experience in healthcare or radiology/imaging environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with modality integration, PACS/RIS systems, and clinical workflows is a plus.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, high-growth environment requiring strong prioritization and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% during peak implementation periods.
  • Flexibility to support occasional night and weekend work during go-live events and critical implementations.

Success Profile
Success in this role includes:
  • Imaging centers opening on time with no IT-related delays
