Clean Harbors, Norwell, MA is looking for an MRP Planner to join their safety conscious team! Clean Harbors is seeking an MRP Planner to support manufacturing operations through effective material requirements planning and inventory management activities. The MRP Planner will utilize MRP systems to manage raw material and component requirements, coordinate supplier deliveries, and ensure materials are available to support production schedules across manufacturing facilities.

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Utilize MRP systems to generate and manage material requirements to support manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor raw material and component inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
  • Create and manage purchase orders based on MRP outputs and production requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues impacting production schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with production planning, operations, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to support manufacturing continuity.
  • Monitor material availability and proactively identify potential shortages, delays, or inventory risks.
  • Review and reconcile supplier invoices for accuracy in pricing and quantities while coordinating with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate reports related to inventory performance, material planning, and supplier execution to support operational decision making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material planning processes, inventory management practices, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain planning parameters including lead times and safety stock settings within ERP systems to support effective planning outputs.
