$40.00 – $48.00 per hour

Job Type

Schedule

  • Every Friday and Saturday
  • Choice of:
    • 8-hour day shifts
    • 10-hour day shifts
  • Additional coverage opportunities available when the full-time technologist is on vacation or out of office
  • Opportunity to transition into a full-time position in the future

About Us

Pinnacle Upright MRI is a busy outpatient imaging facility providing high-quality MRI services in a comfortable patient-focused environment. Our facility maintains a steady workflow and utilizes a FONAR Upright MRI system, offering patients a unique open and upright scanning experience.

No prior experience with a FONAR Upright MRI machine is required — training will be provided.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Properly position patients and operate MRI equipment
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Follow MRI safety standards and infection control procedures
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff, and patients
  • Assist with maintaining workflow efficiency in a steady outpatient environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Previous MRI experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with upright MRI systems is not required
