Job Summary and Qualifications
Lead MRI Technologist
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist for a full-time lead role. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity.
Lead MRI Tech duties include but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment
  • Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
  • Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
  • Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
  • You will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases
  • Keep room(s) stocked with necessary supplies
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care

Qualifications
• Graduate of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school
• 1-3 years previous MRI Technologist experience
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Valid ARRT (R) + ARRT (MR) credentials
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills
• Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
