Job description

As an MRI tech you will perform examinations to create detailed images of the body's organs, tissues, and structures for diagnostic purposes.  You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while providing compassionate care and maintaining a positive patient experience.   

This is a PRN position to help support the west side mobile MRI trucks

 What You Will Do

  • Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values

  • Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.

  • Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered.

  • Patient care during visit to MRI

  • Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment

  • Assures a safe and clean environment

  • Maintains knowledge of technical skills

  • Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment

  • Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area
