Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join a leading diagnostic imaging team in Charlotte, NC. This full-time opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals who are passionate about patient care, advanced MRI technology, and delivering high-quality diagnostic services in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment, administer IV contrast when appropriate, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient outcomes.

Compensation & Incentives

Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25/hour based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: potential sign-on bonus available

Relocation Assistance: May be available for qualified candidates

Schedule - Full-Time | 36 Hours Per Week

Night Shift: Mon-Thu 9PM โ€“ 6AM *No Required Call

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to departmental protocols and quality standards
  • Verify physician orders and patient information prior to imaging procedures
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding MRI examinations
  • Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Active enrollment in an MRI ARRT Registry-Eligible or ARMRIT program required
  • MRI Registry Certification required within one year of hire
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of MRI imaging procedures, patient care, and MRI safety protocols
  • Excellent communication, technical, and critical-thinking skills
