GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at our Brems locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures for referring physicians of a quality that aids in the diagnosis of the patient. Please note that all candidates must report to Mount Olive for first day onboarding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages including the administration of contrast material as assigned in accordance with established guidelines in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination and treatment providing the highest patient care.
  2. Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with referring physician and the radiologist to ensure accurate and timely performance of procedures.
  3. Knowledge of scheduling procedures for MRI.
  4. Maintenance and organization of patient film file records.
  5. Maintain continuing education units as required to ensure ARRT/ARMRIT certification.
  6. Maintain a clean and stocked work area.
  7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specificskill area; plus 1+ years of related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • ARRT/ARMRIT Certification (Required)
  • Diagnostic Radiography License (Preferred, but not required)
