POSITION

Under the direction of the Director of Operations and the Dispatcher, Commercial Trades Staff work on professional commercial job sites responsible for commercial moving of both new and used office furniture and products. They are customer focused, accountable, collaborative, and communicate effectively to meet our customer's expectations. Our customers demand excellence. Success in this position also requires the candidate to hold themselves and others accountable to meet internal and external commitments. They must work collaboratively as a team to ensure successful customer relocation.

The position is physical in nature and requires the ability carry furniture up stairways, stand on your feet for long periods of time, and at times work long days to finish a job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to take direction from a Lead Mover
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously.
  • Time management. The ability to execute a task and report back to your Lead in a timely fashion.
  • Work all scheduled shifts while exhibiting a polite, helpful, positive attitude and professional image with public, customers and team members.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and Maintenance instructions, and floor plans in relation to cubicle locations.
  • Responsible for executing tasks assigned by the Lead in a timely fashion.

  • Demonstrates ingenuity in solving problems.

    • Commercial Office Space, Healthcare Facilities, Educational Facilities, Manufacturing Facilities, New Construction Sites, and Government Facilities. Wide industry exposure to general construction and all the trades working within construction

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
    • Must be dependable and flexible to work varying shifts based on customer demand.
    • Drivers License with clean record preferred
    • Possess the aptitude to learn new procedures and techniques
    • Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays
    • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
    • Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

    LANUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to effectively communicate instructions and assignments to personnel in English.
