Move Manager

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK – Lexington KY

The Move Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance, crew development, and damage prevention. This role focuses on coaching, accountability, and hands-on leadership. This is a field-based role with occasional office work required.

Starting pay: $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.

Candidates are expected to have reliable transportation to/from work. Must be willing to authorize a background check and pre-employment drug screen, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is a drug-free work place.

Core Responsibilities

· Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments

· Lead by example in communication, performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation

· Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand

· Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, or assist with these processes

· Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits

· Assist with coordinating and directing fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner

· Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines

· Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs

· Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement

· Assist with customer concerns and damage resolution processes as necessary

· Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
