Job description

Mfg Direct - Molding - Molding Operator

Summary of Position:

Performs assigned duties at work station to make sure product complies with specifications

Essential Functions:

· Operates assigned injection molding machines in a daily basis.

· Understands and follows GMP procedures.

· Follows instructions given by Supervisor, Molding Operator II and Quality Inspectors.

· Makes sure production from machines complies with specifications for quality requirements.

· Notifies quality inspectors, molding operators II and supervisors if any problems arise with product or machine.

· Ensures correct packaging of product.

· Fills out appropriate labels and paperwork related to machine assignments.

· Complies with machine operator procedure SOP-005.

· Work in quarterly major cleanings when required.

· Performs any related duty assigned by immediate supervisor

Position Requirements:

Education:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent. Some college preferable.

 Job Experience:

· Preferable one year of experience in manufacturing environment as Operator.

 Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

· Quality oriented, Mechanical aptitude and willing to work on rotating shifts.
