Job description

GTC is seeking a high-energy Motion Designer to join our fast-moving Los Angeles promo team. This role is built for a rhythm-driven creator with experience in animation of promo material for artist content. You must be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a proven ability to deliver in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Strong understanding of motion design for high-volume production, including broadcast and digital delivery specs, codecs, frame rates, and compression standards.
  • Proficiency in building and working within After Effects projects, including precomps, expressions, templating, and efficient render workflows.
  • Ability to handle heavy localization/versioning workflows (text swaps, date/city changes, multi-market rollouts) with speed and accuracy.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across creative, production, and client teams while maintaining professionalism.
  • Technical problem solving ability across animation, rendering, and file delivery challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working quickly and independently under tight deadlines.


Responsibilities

  • Execute motion graphics and animations while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity across all deliverables.
  • Organize and maintain project files, templates, and assets for scalability and reuse.
  • Prepare and export final deliverables across multiple formats, specs, and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, editors, and producers to bring creative concepts to life.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. This is critical for success in this high-volume environment of production workflows.
  • Familiarity with HTML5 banner workflows is a plus (AE → video → developer handoff or tools like Google Web Designer/Celtra).
