Job description

Job Summary: 

A Motion Graphic Artist responsible for creating engaging, brand-driven animations while supporting videography post-production, including editing, color correction, and visual polish across multiple platforms. This role also provides photography post-production support using Photoshop, retouching, and preparing still assets to align seamlessly with video and motion-based storytelling.

Job Expectations: 

  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for digital, social, web, and video platforms.

  • Translate brand guidelines, creative briefs, and storyboards into polished motion assets.

  • Animate typography, iconography, UI elements, and graphic systems with strong timing and visual rhythm.

  • Support video post-production, including editing assistance, basic color correction, and visual enhancements

  • Prepare and optimize assets for multiple formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.

  • Perform photography post-production in Photoshop, including retouching, color cleanup, and asset prep.

  • Collaborate closely with creative leads, producers, and editors to maintain visual consistency.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production schedules.

  • Maintain organized project files and follow established naming, versioning, and delivery standards.

  • Stay current on motion design trends, tools, and techniques to elevate output quality continuously

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  Knowledge

  • Advanced understanding of motion design principles, animation timing, and visual storytelling

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end video post-production workflows and delivery standards

  • Working knowledge of 3D creation and integration within motion graphics pipelines

  • Familiarity with professional editing workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve

  • Understanding of brand systems, visual consistency, and cross-platform execution

  • Knowledge of collaborative production environments, file organization, and version control

Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics, compositing, and animation

  • Experience using Maxon 3D tools for After Effects (e.g., Cinema 4D, Cineware, Redshift integrations)
     

  • Strong working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for video editing and finishing

  • Proficient in Photoshop for photography post-production, retouching, and asset preparation
    Ability to design, animate, and integrate 2D and 3D elements into cohesive motion systems

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills across multiple projects

Abilities
  • Ability to translate creative direction into high-quality, production-ready motion and 3D assets

  • Ability to independently execute complex motion graphics projects from concept through delivery

Equipment Knowledge: 

  • Experience working on Apple Mac workstations in a professional creative production environment.

  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

2-5 years of professional experience in motion graphics, with supporting experience in video post-production and 2D/3D integration

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant creative field or equivalent hands-on professional experience in motion graphics and animation
