Disney CreativeWorks Studio is a full-service branded content studio and creative agency with global scale. We are responsible for creative, strategy, and production of custom branded entertainment and sponsored content solutions across all Disney Entertainment platforms and channels - ABC, FX, Hulu, Disney+, Freeform, National Geographic, Disney Channels, ESPN, andDisney Branded Television.

The Disney CreativeWorks Graphics team is seeking a Design and Motion Graphics Artist to bring top-level design to multi-platform campaigns across our Disney Entertainment IP and brands. The Designer will be responsible for handling numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, balancing client considerations and the unique visual identity of each of Disney's brands and shows. This role will primarily handle static design responsibilities while also providing some minor motion graphics support.Beyond execution, this role will contribute to the development of creative concepts, using strong visual thinking and storytelling to bring brand, campaign, and advertiser ideas to life through thoughtful design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept and develop visually compelling creative materials that translate brand, campaign, and branded content ideas into clear, engaging visual storytelling across pitch decks, sales materials, internal initiatives, and other creative deliverables.

  • Design static assets such as logos, key art, templates, complete graphics packages and more.

  • Create basic motion graphics for client work across DisneyCreativeWorks with an emphasis on work specific to streaming and social media landscapes.

  • Interact with Brand Marketing and UX stakeholders from Disney's various networks to understand specific visual nuances of each as well as specific ad product offerings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Graphic Design and Motion Graphics for advertising.

  • Comfortable working in a Mac-based creative environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ad Agency and/or Entertainment experience strongly preferred.

  • Figma experience is a plus.

  • Experience withAfter Effectsis a plus.

  • AirTable experience preferred but not required.

  • Experience with additional design and presentation tools such as Google Slides, Keynote, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong writing and storytelling ability.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education:

  • Degree in design, art, film, television, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $87,100 to $116,800 per year, in New York, NY is $88,960 to $122,320 per year and in Washington, DC is $84,960 to $116,820 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
