POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Coach (Injury Prevention) will report to the Director of Injury Prevention and the Director of Coaching. In this role, the Senior Coach (Injury Prevention) will serve to maintain an elite level of customer service for their allocated members. Our VIP Members will look to the Senior Coach (Injury Prevention) for daily accountability and support, in addition to injury management, and a substantial level of maturity and emotional intelligence is essential. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Senior Coach (Injury Prevention) will be responsible for motivating and building daily training habits, behavior change and time management within the personal and professional lives of our members.
In this hybrid role, you'll be at the heart of supporting our members and contributing to their strength journey. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the specialist team to conduct bi-annual, in-person member assessments, ensuring every member receives the highest level of care and attention.
• Crafting personalized weekly programming designed to improve members' strength, mobility, and cardio-respiratory conditioning.
• Building strong relationships with members through regular communication across messaging channels and scheduled video calls, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
• Monitoring and tracking progress using various devices and platforms to ensure accountability and data accuracy.
• Proactively adapting programs and troubleshooting challenges, working closely with specialists to keep members on track and progressing.
• Supporting the Director of Injury Prevention by assisting in clinical caseload management and advising Senior Coaches on managing their members' clinical needs.
• Maintaining accurate, clear internal and client-facing reports, along with detailed clinical notes, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Thoughtfully facilitating communication between members and other 10 Squared specialists, acting as a key liaison for a seamless experience.
• Committing to ongoing education and training, so you're always growing and bringing your best to the team and our members.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of three years of proven professional experience, making autonomous clinical and diagnostic patient-care decisions (i.e. unsupervised independent practice)
• Tertiary qualifications and a license to practice as a chiropractor or physical therapist in the USA (and the ability to obtain a license to practice in Texas)
• SFMA training/certification
• Experience in strength and mobility programming, with a recognized national certification
• Located in (or open to imminent relocation to) Austin, TX
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Five or more years proven professional experience in the roles described above
• Recognized tertiary qualifications in exercise science, sports physiology, strength and conditioning, kinesiology or equivalent fields, in addition to clinical degree listed above
• Knowledge of DNS, PRI, and/or FRC principles
• Experience in programming for cardio-respiratory conditioning
• Knowledge and experience conducting and/or analyzing CPET testing
• Experience using force plates, motion capture camera systems and other data collection devices
• Knowledge and experience conducting and/or analyzing DEXA scans
• Significant remote/video coaching experience
• Demonstrated clinical expertise or coaching in elite sport and/or the general population are equally valuable
Candidates must possess a well-developed ability to read professional and interpersonal circumstances, to problem solve creatively, to work independently and efficiently, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
10 Squared programs will be delivered (predominantly on a remote basis) from our new physical performance center in Austin, Texas, and candidates for this Coaching role must relocate to, or reside within, the Austin area.
SALARY
The annual base salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000, with a meaningful annual performance bonus also applicable.
