Georgia Banking Company is seeking highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator, also known as VP of Residential Lending. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals with a strong network and sales expertise in the mortgage industry. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the loan process, and building long-term relationships with homebuyers and real estate professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners to generate leads.
  • Assist clients in selecting the right mortgage loan products based on their financial needs.
  • Manage the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with lending regulations, mortgage products, and industry trends.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal mortgage lending laws.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and production goals
Requirements:
  • Active Mortgage Loan (NMLS) License in the state of Georgia (required).
