Job description

Job Summary:

To strive for financial excellence for the Central Billing Office by maintaining an efficient, streamlined daily route throughout all revenue producing offices of the GSH system.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Courier will begin at the CBO: pick up mail from previous day, empty deposit bags for distribution to the physician offices.
  2. Courier will then travel to each office and drop off deposit bags and any interoffice mail.
  3. Courier will pick up any/all locked deposit bags and 1) outgoing US Mail, 2)interoffice mail for hospital, 3) CBO mail.
  4. Courier drops off locked deposit bags at CBO and mail. Picks up bank deposits.
  5. Courier drops off bank deposit at Vincennes First Savings Bank.
  6. Courier delivers all interoffice mail and US mail to the hospital and picks up any CBO mail.
  7. Courier delivers all CBO mail from hospital to CBO.
  8. Courier will keep van locked at all times due to confidentiality and money in the vehicle.
  9. Courier will advise supervisor when maintenance/upkeep on van for oil changes/tire rotation should be done.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

  1. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
