Job Title: Associate - Institutional Sales
Location: New York, NY; (In-person)

Reports to: Institutional Sales Leadership
Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday; Fully In-person

Monex is seeking an Associate - Institutional Sales to join our growing institutional sales team. This role is responsible for developing qualified opportunities into active institutional relationships. Working alongside senior sales professionals, the Associate supports client engagement efforts, develops commercial expertise, and gains exposure to the full institutional sales process. The role serves as the bridge between opportunity generation and revenue production.
Responsibilities
Institutional Relationship Development
  • Manage and develop early-stage institutional relationships.
  • Qualify opportunities and identify client needs.
  • Support client meetings and proposal development.
  • Assist with institutional coverage initiatives across targeted sectors.
Product & Market Development
  • Develop expertise in FX markets, forwards, and institutional hedging strategies.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and market intelligence efforts.
  • Client Service & Internal Partnership
  • Partner with trading and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.

Required Qualifications
  • 1-4 years of experience in institutional sales, financial services, or capital markets.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Strong interest in FX, capital markets, and institutional investing.
  • Series 63/65 or equivalent licensing (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation
  • Salary is commensurate with experience. The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000, with a competitive commission package.
