ROLE - Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 06:35-15:05
On-call: required one day per week
Requirements:
- Active IN or Compact license required
- 1+ years of Operating Room (OR) experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- 1 reference from a direct supervisor within the last 12 months
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust care as necessary during the surgical process.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to implement care plans and ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist with the setup of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Influenza vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- Upon signing, travel staff have 24 hours to complete lab work for compliance.
