RN – GI Lab / Endoscopy
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 8-Hour Days (Monday–Friday)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced GI Lab/Endoscopy RN for a busy acute care Endoscopy department. Candidate must have GI experience and be comfortable with moderate sedation, endoscopic procedures, and on-call responsibilities.

Unit Details:
• Endoscopy / GI Lab
• Average 3–5 procedures daily plus emergency cases
• Cerner Surginet EMR
• Acute Care Setting

Common Procedures:
• EGD
• Colonoscopy
• ERCP
• MRCP
• Biopsies

Requirements:
• Active RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Minimum 2+ years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
• Moderate Sedation experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• COVID Vaccination required

Schedule & Call:
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Start time varies based on first procedure
• One evening call shift per week (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• One weekend call rotation per month (48 hours)
• Holiday call as needed

Additional Details:
• Float to PACU/ACU as needed
• Department-specific orientation provided (2–3 days)
• Special scrubs provided by department
• RT, Pharmacy, and Hospitalist support available 24/7

Experienced GI RN with strong procedural skills, sedation experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Endoscopy environment.
