Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op (Surgical) Contract

Facility: Adventist Health St. Helena
Location: St. Helena, CA
Address: 10 Woodland Rd, St. Helena, CA 94574
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Variable | Monday–Friday | 5x8s (Start times fluctuate) | No Call
Shift: Day shift (1st 8-hour shift)
Pay Rate: $58 – $60/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 – $2,400/week (40 hrs/week)


Job Summary

Provide pre-operative nursing care for surgical patients, including assessment, preparation for surgery, patient education, coordination with surgical teams, and ensuring all pre-op protocols are completed before procedures. Work in a fast-paced surgical services environment with focus on safety, efficiency, and patient readiness.


Requirements
  • Active RN license (CA or compact eligible)

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred

  • Experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or Surgical Services preferred
