Registered Nurse (Float – Geriatric Day Health Center)

📍 San Francisco, CA | Contract (3+ Months) | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

We're seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join a mission-driven Day Health Center in San Francisco. This is a 3+ month contract covering a leave of absence, providing comprehensive nursing care to seniors in a collaborative, community-based setting.

If you're looking to move away from the demands of acute hospital care while making a meaningful impact with older adults, this opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule and a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations for geriatric participants.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans.

  • Provide patient, caregiver, and family education.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Serve as a clinical resource and float between center needs as required.

  • Document assessments and interventions accurately while ensuring quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted California RN license

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience working with frail or elderly adults
