This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handson baking without decorating or customer interaction.

Lead Baker position would be Monday 6PM -10PM Tuesday - Friday 12PM-10PM 

Responsibilities

  • Bake all core products: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, and specialty items.
  • Mix, scale, and prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and frostings according to bakery recipes.
  • Monitor ovens, proofers, and timers to ensure consistent quality and doneness.
  • Maintain daily production schedules and meet volume requirements.
  • Rotate products, manage freshness, and follow foodsafety standards.
  • Keep baking equipment, tools, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory of baking ingredients and communicate shortages.

Requirements

  • Commercial baking experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of baking science, scaling, and production flow.
  • Ability to work afternoons and weekends.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Certification

  • Food Handler or ServSafe Certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).
