Job description

Our company is actively seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician for our location in Plymouth.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 5 years of Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance experience is required
  • Turning/twisting โ€“ required all the time to perform job functions
  • Bending/stooping โ€“ occasionally required
  • Mechanical aptitude, Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent experience in maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety in an industrial setting

Responsibilities

  • Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintains all production equipment, support equipment and building maintenance as directed by supervisor
  • Complete all preventive maintenance activities assigned by supervisor
  • Oil, grease and clean all areas as needed through work orders
  • Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment as generated by work orders
  • Insure safety and housekeeping standards are met
  • May be assigned out-sort work, programs, and/or training, due to upgrades of job title as assessed by management team
  • The following documents will be the responsibility of a maintenance technician for review and/or function

  • Power House- Daily PM Checks
  • Air Compressor- Monthly PM Checks
  • Floor Sweeper- Monthly PM Checks
  • Thermolator- Monthly PM Checks
  • Dryers- Monthly PM Checks
  • IMM Daily and Monthly PM Checks
  • Robots Monthly PM Checks
  • IMM Quarterly PM Checks
  • Floor Scrubber Monthly PM Checks
  • Sprinkler System Quarterly Checks
  • Conveyor Weekly Checks
  • Vacuum Pump Monthly Checks
  • Assembly Fixture Verification โ€“ Done daily
  • The following work instructions relate to the function of the forms listed above
  • Completion of Work Orders
  • Equipment Predictive Maintenance Set-up
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Complete additional work assigned by supervisor and/or management team
  • Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy
  • Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity
  • Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Standing โ€“ frequently required on concrete floor when repairing equipment
  • Walking โ€“ sometimes required during repairing or doing maintenance
  • Lifting โ€“ frequent lifting from floor to waist level
  • Reaching โ€“ frequently extending arms and hands in front of body and below the waist when repairing machines
