POSITION: MTC MACHINIST - TOOL MAKER / MOLD MAKER
LOCATION: MOLD TECHNOLOGY CENTER at VICTAULIC GLOBAL
HEADQUARTERS (EASTON, PA)
REPORTS TO: GROUP LEADER

Since the 1950's Victaulic has been providing ground-breaking fire protection products and system solutions for challenges faced by engineers, contractors, property managers and fire marshals.
MOLD TECHNOLOGY CENTER:
Mold Tech Center builds and maintains Rubber molds for all Victaulic facilities worldwide.
JOB SUMMARY:
Read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.
Use micrometers, calipers, indicators and all common machining tools.
Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
Set up and operate machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.
Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.
Write and Edit G code and M code programs as required.
Operate 3 axis vertical CNC Mills.
Operate CNC Mills Lathes and Turning Centers.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Experience in rubber mold building preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
2+ Years Technical schooling preferred.
5+ years on the job experience preferred.
High School graduate will be considered.
Able to work well with others.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Day shift: 40 Hours. Overtime as required.
JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent
SCHEDULE: 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday
