Mold Techs often have clear pathways for career advancement as they gain experience and demonstrate strong technical skills. With additional training or certifications, Mold Techs can move up to positions such as Lead Mold Technician, Process Technician, or even into roles in quality assurance or maintenance supervision. Many companies also offer cross-training opportunities that allow technicians to learn about related areas, broadening their expertise and versatility. Advancement is typically based on hands-on experience, reliability, and the ability to manage increasingly complex machinery and processes.
