Job Summary
Mohawk Valley Health System(MVHS) is currently seeking Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to join our established team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. MVHS is dedicated to supporting our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers enabling them to deliver premier healthcare to our region, while keeping patients at the focus of all we do. MVHS currently has 16 primary care offices stretching across the Mohawk Valley, with options of living in rural or urban communities. This position is a full time employed position to join one of our offices. This position includes a traditional outpatient practice, with 35 patient contact hours and 5 hours of admin time per week. You would be working alongside and established team with great support

Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
  • Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
  • Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
  • Familiar with EHR/EMR software.

Licensure/Certification Requirements
REQUIRED:
  • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:
  • Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
