Who You Are & What You'll Do
The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) will design, develop, deliver, and evaluate a comprehensive asset forfeiture training program aligned with organizational mission requirements. This role involves managing a curriculum consisting of 5 courses (25-30 modules each) covering the full asset lifecycle, financial management, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in adult education with classroom facilitation skills to deliver practical, role-based, and performance-oriented training, in particular with developing and maintaining course catalogs and using learning management systems.
What You Bring to the Table - Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Current or obtainable Public Trust clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education, adult education, curriculum and instruction, or related degree (A graduate degree in education or related fields is preferred). In lieu of a bachelor's degree, at least ten (10) years of work experience as described below.
  • Experience - Methodological Knowledge: At least five (5) years of work experience with formal training administration techniques, such as developing and maintaining course catalogs; using learning management systems to record and retain training completions and certifications; preparing training budget support materials; and collaborating with stakeholders to plan training events.
  • Instructional Track Record: Proven professional teaching and facilitation experience spanning both physical classroom and virtual environments.
  • Advanced Software Proficiency: Expert-level hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Office and corporate productivity suites, specifically:
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
    • Microsoft Visio (process mapping)
    • Microsoft Project (timeline/milestone tracking)
  • Delivery Platforms: Familiarity or direct experience managing virtual sessions and tracking enrollment through MS Teams, Webex, and federal or institutional Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 annually.
