Job description

Commodore Homes LLC, a division of Cavco Industries, is one of the largest builders of modular and manufactured homes throughout the northeast, mid-Atlantic, and Midwest markets.

Our modular homes are constructed to individual state and local building codes, and represent a smart, rapidly growing alternative to local 'site built' homes. Combining broad customization, better construction technology, and less waste, our modular homes generally cost less than a comparable 'site-built' home.

We take pride in our long-standing stable workforce, that represents skilled crafts people dedicated to building homes.

We are hiring drafters with experience in AutoCAD and/or a background in housing construction. However, we will train motivated individuals who have no prior experience but possess the ability to evolve alongside a progressive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise detailed drawings for: Literatures, Permits, Production Packages / Working Drawings
  • Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Meet deadlines to reduce bottlenecks and maintain a smooth workflow

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. College degree in related field preferred but not required
  • Must be proficient with computers, communication and problem solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work in teams and attention to detail
