THE ROLE
We're looking for a highly motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and build a career in a growing industry. You'll work on our innovative modular homes, helping us install and test all-electric HVAC systems, including heat pumps, ERVs (Energy Recovery Ventilators), and the related ductwork.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Install and mount heat pumps, including the refrigerant lines.
- Install and test ERV systems.
- Assemble and install ductwork, ensuring it's sealed correctly for optimal airflow.
- Perform performance tests on HVAC systems.
- Help inspect completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards.
- Work alongside licensed plumbers and electricians as we build our homes.
- Follow all safety protocols and learn about building and energy codes.
- Learn and practice proper refrigerant handling and documentation to maintain EPA compliance.
- Experience with HVAC systems.
- Preference given to candidates with their EPA Section 608 Universal Certification, but this is not a requirement.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- A strong desire to learn, an eye for detail, and a positive attitude.
