This position will cover 3 commercial buildings in North Bethesda, MD and 1 commercial building in Rockville, MD
Mobile Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
The Mobile Maintenance Technician performs building operations, customer service, and community enhancement and provide a safe environment for building tenants and visitors. Mobile Technician will perform routine inspections, exterior checks, maintenance and repairs, and tenant work orders as required. Were looking for someone who will complete or assist with tasks related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within commercial buildings. Daily duties will include working with the property management team to perform preventive maintenance tasks as required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

PRIMARY BUILDING ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications to building systems
  • Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance requests professionally
  • Work with vendors to complete contracted work orders to meet expectations
  • Maintain records, reports, and evaluations, and provide recommendations regarding necessary building maintenance operations
  • Identify and help to order parts, materials, equipment, and supplies that are needed
  • Manage Building Management System (BMS) / Energy Management System (EMS) as directed by Chief Engineer or Property Manager
  • Maintain a clean engineering shop, mechanical plant, mechanical rooms, and general appearance
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform related work as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3 - 5 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings
  • Skills and abilities with HVAC equipment a plus
  • High-level experience and skills in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment
  • Basic technology skills necessary to manage work order applications on mobile phone and learn to operate
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Occasionally work overtime to perform necessary repairs or maintenance that are necessary to complete during off-hours
  • Must meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for 1 hour, and climbing ladders.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must possess a Universal CFC certification
