Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safety, functionality, and reliability of facilities and equipment across multiple locations. This position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of building systems and equipmentincluding carpentry, plumbing, electrical components, and other mechanical assets. The role requires working independently while traveling to various job sites to perform preventative, reactive, and emergency maintenance, supporting uninterrupted operations and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

Technical Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, minor HVAC, and general carpentry issues across various facilities and equipment.

Inspections & Preventive Care: Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive, reactive, and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Work Order Management: Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and manuals; prioritize, schedule, and follow up on tasks while maintaining accurate records through Mobile Maintenance Software.

Tools, Equipment & Safety Compliance: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively, while adhering to all safety regulations and ensuring work meets applicable codes and standards.

Professionalism & Collaboration: Maintain a well-organized mobile workspace, manage parts inventory, stay current with industry technologies, and foster positive relationships with management, tenants, and coworkers.

Requirements

Education & Training: High school diploma, GED, or Trade School Certificate required.

Maintenance Experience: Minimum of three to five years of related experience, including at least three years in commercial or facilities maintenance.

Licensing & Driving Requirements: Valid Ohio driver's license, proof of automobile liability insurance, and a safe driving record.

Tools & Equipment: Must provide and maintain basic hand tools and demonstrate proficiency in safely operating hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.

Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of commercial maintenance practices, equipment, and safety procedures.
