Job description


Job Summary
Perform Mobile Device Management engineering tasks at an engineer level competency. Create engineering level documentation consumable by system administration, operations and support staff. Mentor junior staff on policy and procedure requirements.
Essential Functions
  • Adhering to defined standards
  • Adhering to required policies and procedures (CRQ, INC, problem management, project management etc.)
  • Proposing new or replacement standards
  • Engaging other teams to peer review proposed changes to standards
  • Communicating documentation and policies to management
  • Developing build documentation for pilot and deployment of new systems using tools such as
    Visio, Draw.io, Word, Excel, PowerShell etc.
  • Firm understanding of IT terms and concepts with ability to read vendor documentation and perform related duties accurately.
  • Detailed experience with enterprise class services such as Mobile Device Management and Infrastructure upgrades/maintenance. As well as experience and knowledge of Microsoft InTune Mobile Device Management. Knowledge of SOTI Mobile Device Management also preferred
    Must be able to create engineering level documentation representing proposed, pilot, and as-built systems.
  • Candidates will be self-motivated, willing to learn, capable of following directions and creatively working through challenges.
  • Candidates will be expected to mentor others and provide skills transfer sessions.
  • Candidates will be expected to create proof of concepts and production roll outs.
  • This position will be on the End User Compute Engineering team performing various duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Required Education: Associate of Science degree
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working within an IT organization. 4 years enterprise level experience
  • Preferred Experience: 5 years of experience working within an IT organization. 6 years enterprise level experience
  • Computer Skills Required: Knowledge in Microsoft word, excel, Libre Office and Google suite

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of enterprise technology lifecycle and operational support processes.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical and system integration issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with scripting, automation tools, or configuration management practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
