What You'll Do:

  • Lead daily bread production for wholesale and in-house use, ensuring excellence in taste, texture, and presentation
  • Train, mentor, and inspire a team of bakers, fostering a supportive and efficient work culture
  • Create and implement systems to streamline production and scheduling while aligning with labor and food cost goals
  • Monitor inventory and place accurate, timely orders to manage costs and avoid waste
  • Collaborate with the executive and pastry teams to develop and test seasonal offerings
  • Uphold strict cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with Travis County Health Department regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of professional baking experience in a high-volume or artisanal bakery
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and team development
  • Proven ability to manage production timelines and maintain consistency under pressure
  • Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, scaling, and inventory management
  • Commitment to quality, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working long shifts, on your feet, in a fast-paced environment
