About Us: Insight Restoration is dedicated to restoring lives and properties after disasters.
Whether it’s fire damage, flooding, or other calamities, our team steps in to clean up, dry out, and
rebuild. We’re seeking an experienced restoration estimator to join our ranks.
Responsibilities: As a restoration estimator, you’ll play a crucial role in our operations. Your
responsibilities include:
1. Estimate Writing: Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate for both residential and
commercial projects impacted by disasters.
2. Scope of Work: Accurately define the scope of work required for mitigation and
reconstruction.
3. Financial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, purchasing, and
collections.
4. Negotiation: Negotiate, settle, and finalize estimates with insurance companies and third
parties.
5. Team Coordination: Work closely with internal and external personnel to smoothly
transition projects.
6. Work Orders: Generate work orders for subcontractors and in-house crews.
7. Invoicing: Process all invoices for submission to the accounting office.
8. Reporting: Provide daily progress updates using project management software.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Proficiency: Skilled in using Xactimate, T&M Pro, CRMs, Matterport, Word, and Excel. Comfortable with technology.
  • Estimation Expertise: Ability to estimate various types of structures affected by disasters using Xactimate and 3D software. Must have a strong knowledge of reconstruction.
  • Availability: Willingness to occasionally work after hours and travel out of state if necessary.
