Job description

Senior/Lead Business Analyst

Seeking a skilled Senior/Lead Business Analyst to join their team for a predominantly remote role, with periodic on-site meetings once a month. This is a 12+ month contract position.

As a Senior or Principal Business Analyst, you'll be immersed in the dynamic environment of the Safety & Security Team, managing various programs and systems concurrently. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, engaging with architects, system analysts, project managers, developers, quality control leaders, and senior leadership within Safety & Security.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Comprehending the business needs.
  • Devising strategies to elicit functional business requirements from different units
  • Taking the lead in requirement gathering sessions with business subject matter experts
  • Thoroughly documenting business, functional, and technical requirements for Safety & Security project teams, encompassing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Crafting detailed process documentation delineating current and future state business and technical processes
  • Mastery of BA-related PMLP delivery documentation
  • Active participation in weekly meetings with project and Safety & Security teams
  • Offering functional testing support to development teams as necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or related field
  • 8-10 yearsโ€™ minimum experience in documenting functional and technical business requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving prowess
  • Proven experience in documenting system functional and technical requirements
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
