Job Description:
The MIP Packaging Technician reports to the MIP Manager and MIP Packaging Supervisor. The ultimate objective of the Packaging Technician is to package MIP products efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining a production and sanitary work environment. The MIP Packaging Technician assists the MIP Packaging Production Lead and MIP Packaging Supervisor with daily tasks, as needed, to maintain a productive work environment.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Location: Kalkaska, MI
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee quality standards are met and report issues to management
  • Accurately produce quality acceptable labels for packages
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with other NEA departments
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and utilize problem solving skills for a positive outcome
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Must be 21+ and eligible to obtain required state cannabis agent registration
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated, flexible, and adapts to changing situations
  • Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to repeatedly perform the following tasks: sit, stand, stoop, stretch, bend, twist, reach, carry, lift, push, and pull
