Job summary -
Takes inventory and restocks guestroom Mini Bars daily and prepares charges accordingly. Removes and replaces Mini Bars in guest rooms upon request and provides monthly inventory of all items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Active)
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guest, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Always maintain positive guest relations.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental/hotel policies and procedures.
• Resolve or act by informing a supervisor to guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all food/snacks and non-food selections available.
• Maintain complete knowledge of guest room layout, locations of mini-bars and room numbers/names.
• Fully understand the use of Vocera and Knowcross for completing guest requests and for communication with manager on duty.
• Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations.
• Ensure all traces are followed regarding removal of alcohol from mini-bars upon request.
• Post mini bar charges in InfoGenesis tablet prior to performing closing side work.
• Inventory and knowledge of PAR levels for all mini bar items
• Complete opening side work:
o Check quality/dates of all stock and supplies being used and items being removed from rooms based on rotation
o Complete opening inventory sheet
o Complete requisition for the day based on rotation
o Transport items from storeroom (dry storage) to the mini-bar storage in housekeeping
• Enter guest rooms and inventory mini bars
• Replenish items in guestroom mini bars, including wine and liquor.
• Clean and restock cart
• Complete closing side work:
o Securely store all beverages and supplies
o Ensure storage in housekeeping is stock for the next day and organized
o Clean all equipment and tools
o Remove trash (from your workspace)
o Complete closing inventory
o Obtain manager on duty signature on all paperwork prior to leaving for the day.
• Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests and staff.
• Respond in courteous, professional, and rapid manner to assist all guest and staff difficulties.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Models the company's culture, vision, mission, and core values always.
• All other duties as required.

Experience -
• Minimum 1-year experience in similar position in a luxury environment.
